Return Policy for East Bay Alternatives

1. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging with all seals intact.

  • The item must be in the same condition as when it was delivered.

  • The return request must be made within 30 days of the delivery date.

  • You must provide proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation or receipt.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Opened or used products, including CBD, hemp-derived products, or other consumables.

  • Products damaged due to misuse, neglect, or improper storage.

  • Gift cards or promotional items.

  • Items marked as "final sale" at the time of purchase.

 

2. Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at Brandon@eastbayalternatives.com or call [Your Phone Number] within 30 days of delivery to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Include your order number and reason for the return.

  2. Package the Item: Securely pack the item in its original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and documentation. Clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the package.

  3. Ship the Item: Send the package to the return address provided with your RMA. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong or defective item).

  4. Inspection: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you via email about the approval or rejection of your return.

 

3. Refunds

If your return is approved:

  • A refund will be issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days of receiving the returned item.

  • The refund will cover the cost of the item, excluding original shipping fees.

  • If the return is due to our error (e.g., incorrect or defective product), we will also refund reasonable return shipping costs.

Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund.

 

4. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. If you wish to exchange an item, please return the original item following the return process and place a new order for the desired item on our website.

 

5. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately at Brandon@eastbayalternatives.com with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We will provide instructions for returning the item and, upon approval, issue a replacement or refund, including return shipping costs.

 

6. Shipping Costs

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we are not liable for lost or damaged return shipments.

 

7. International Returns
